What is UAE Lottery Lucky Day & Lucky Chance?

Lucky Day is the flagship game of the UAE Lottery, where participants select numbers from two categories—”Days” and “Months”—with prizes ranging from AED 100 up to the advertised jackpot.

Complementing Lucky Day is Lucky Chance, a raffle in which every ticket purchased generates a unique ID that is entered into a separate draw.

The two games are drawn on the same nights, so a single ticket is entered into both.

Lucky Day & Lucky Chance Draw Schedule

  1. Live Draw:
    • Takes place every Wednesday and Saturday at 9:30 PM (UAE time).
    • Watch the draw live on the UAE Lottery’s official YouTube Channel.
  2. Sales Suspension:
    • Ticket sales are suspended around the live draw on draw days. The operator publishes the exact cut-off on its own website.
  3. Sales Period:
    • Sales reopen after the draw has finished and run until the cut-off before the next draw.

How to Play Lucky Day & Lucky Chance?

Playing Lucky Day

  1. Select Your Numbers:
    • Choose 6 numbers from the “Days” section (range: 1–31).
    • Choose 1 number from the “Months” section (range: 1–12).
    These numbers symbolize your lucky days and lucky month.
  2. Purchase Your Ticket:
    • Each ticket costs AED 50 (inclusive of 5% VAT).
  3. Easy Pick Option:
    • Don’t want to choose your numbers manually? Use the Easy Pick feature to randomly generate your numbers.

Participating in Lucky Chance

Every ticket purchased under a completed order automatically generates a Lucky Chance ID, which consists of:

  • 2 uppercase letters followed by
  • 7 digits (e.g., AZ1377268).

These unique IDs are entered into the Lucky Chance draw, in which each winning ID receives AED 50,000.

Winning Conditions for Lucky Day

To win a prize in Lucky Day, your chosen numbers must match the drawn numbers. Here are the prize tiers and their conditions:

  1. Jackpot: Match all 6 numbers from Days + 1 number from Months (6+1).
  2. 2nd Prize: Match all 6 numbers from Days (6+0).
  3. 3rd Prize: Match 5 numbers from Days + 1 number from Months (5+1).
  4. 4th Prize: Match either:
    • 5 numbers from Days (5+0), or
    • 4 numbers from Days + 1 number from Months (4+1).
  5. 5th Prize: Match any of the following combinations:
    • 3 numbers from Days + 1 number from Months (3+1),
    • 2 numbers from Days + 1 number from Months (2+1),
    • 1 number from Days + 1 number from Months (1+1), or
    • 1 number from Months (0+1).

The odds for each prize tier are as follows:

Lucky Chance: a fixed number of winning IDs is drawn every draw, so the Lucky Chance element always produces winners.

The RTP for Lucky Day & Lucky Chance is 48.80%, with the Lucky Chance prize adding extra value.

Key Features and Rules

  1. Single Win Per Entry:
    • Each entry in a draw series is eligible to win only one prize. If an entry qualifies for multiple prizes, the highest prize will be awarded.
  2. Jackpot Splitting:
    • If there are multiple Jackpot winners, the advertised jackpot will be split equally among all winners.
  3. Maximum Purchase:
    • Players can purchase tickets for up to 25 consecutive draws or a maximum of AED 25,000 per transaction.
